St Columba’s School, Gole Market

St Columba’s School, Gole Market received Queen’s Baton on October 2. General retd SPS Dhillon, Pralochan Singh (MP) and Lt Col K S Banshtu (CWG personnel) carried the coveted baton. Young students, parents and other guests of the school welcomed the Queen’s Baton amidst loud cheer. School choir sang resplendent hymns. Present on the occasion were, Fr Mario Suisai (Parish priest), Br A Pinto (executive director, EO Christian Brothers Schools), Br W D’Souza, S Sheel (headmistress middle school), Joginder Singh (school sports coordinator), P A Beddoe, Macdonald Samuel (choirmaster) and Akhil Sud (student columban of the year). Dr Jyotsana Lalit Suri and Vivek Shukla from The Lalit were also present. The ceremony concluded with a photo shoot of the baton along with the school athletic team.
